Announcements: AWF partnership with NDF to build climate resilience and call for proposals of water-climate projects

On 2 September, at the Stockholm World Water Week 2014, the AWF announced its new partnership with the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) as it became the 16th donor to join the AWF donor community following a € 6 million contribution.
Through this partnership, the AWF will be able to benefit from NDF’s vast experience in dealing with climate change, while the NDF will be able to expand its activities in Africa through AWF projects to help boost the development of the water sector.
The AWF also announced a call for proposals for climate-smart water projects, which will be carried out with the support of the NDF and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
